Hello there!

Put your feet up, grab a cuppa and let's meet the team.

Laura McNally

Physiotherapist

Physio for LFC (well, maybe one day)

Laura knew she wanted to be a physiotherapist when she was a child after attending physio appointments with her sister who has cerebral palsy. Her original plans were to be the physio for Liverpool Football Club…there’s always time Laura. Never give up!

Laura studied at York St John University and graduated in 2013 with a Physiotherapy degree. But the studying didn’t stop there. Laura then completed two post-graduate MSc modules. In November 2023, Laura celebrates 10 years practising as a Physiotherapist. We’ve got the champers on ice!

Laura has extensive experience treating patients with a wide range of conditions, including spending one year with paediatrics while working for the NHS. Laura’s current focus is working with patients with chronic pain and finding effective ways to manage the pain.

As a member of the Breast Health Physio team for the NHS, Laura is great at working with our patients who have had post-cancer surgery. She understands the sensitivity around post-cancer treatment and the importance of gentle treatment with a huge dose of friendliness.

Laura says the best part of her job is helping her patients make positive changes to their lifestyle so they can manage an injury or long-term condition. She loves watching people get back to doing the things they love, whether that’s hobbies, work or enjoying important life events.

When Laura isn’t working, she’s busy planning her social life, including lots of hen do’s and weddings – bring on the feather boas and tiara! Laura also likes to work out at the gym, oh, and enjoy the odd cider here and there. It’s all about balance.
