Stewart’s a Chartered Physiotherapist who qualified from The University of Liverpool in 2003 with a BSc (Hon) HCPC MCSP. Since then, he’s worked full-time in the NHS for 20 years and in the private sector since 2007.
In between helping our lovely GSP clients, Stewart continues to work at Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as a senior musculoskeletal physiotherapist.
Stewart specialises in assessing and treating lower limbs, as well as working closely with lower limb orthopaedic surgeons in pre- and post-operative orthopaedic clinics.
Stewart is also qualified in acupuncture and treats our patients who suffer from chronic or ongoing pain. Acupuncture is effective at managing chronic pain and easing the symptoms, so you can enjoy life to the full.
Stewart has always had an interest in sport. In his younger years, he participated in rugby union at local club level and cricket at county level. He’s also done several endurance events over the years such as Tough Guy and Tough Mudder, which is why Stewart has a special interest in helping patients rehabilitate after an injury.
Just make sure you behave when you come to visit – Stewart is a black belt in Taekwondo. Hiiii-yah!
