Hello there!

Put your feet up, grab a cuppa and let's meet the team.

Dave Ferguson

Senior Physiotherapist

Irish Dave is our lucky charm. He graduated from Keele University in 2018 where he had experience working in the major trauma units of Stoke Hospital. He also worked alongside Stoke FC academy team where was given free tickets to Stoke’s first team matches. Dave says, ‘I’m not sure they would be worth paying for anyway’.

As well as working at Grosvenor Street Physiotherapy, Dave works in occupational health in Liverpool a few days a week and as an academy squad physio for RGC Colwyn bay, where he sees and treats a multitude of injuries including ankle sprains, concussion, and managing trauma on the pitch.

It was Dave’s love of exercise that got him into physiotherapy – especially the part where he figured out how to ease the aches and pains! He enjoys helping people get back to the things they love through movement and exercise, whether it’s rugby, the gym, or knitting.

When Dave isn’t physio’ing, you’ll find him hiking up some iconic hills in Wales or in the kitchen cooking up a curry. He also is a keen Crossfitter – don’t ask him about it though or you’ll be trapped for hours hearing about his best Murph time (it’s 60 minutes by the way).

Dave talks a good talk about maintaining a healthy lifestyle but he understands the need for balance. His father-in-law owns a micro-brewery and says it’s essential that he regularly helps with the quality assurance testing.
