Cerys Williams
Physiotherapist
Ballet-loving globetrotter
Cerys is a brilliant physiotherapist with a passion for helping people feel better and, more importantly, feel listened to. She’s also a bit of a globetrotter, a ballet enthusiast and has a serious weakness for Haribo. What’s not to like?!
Originally from Wrexham, Cerys graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Alongside her degree, she has also completed a Sports Massage qualification and a CPD course in Sports Taping. Cerys is passionate about learning and developing her skills as a physiotherapist, always looking for opportunities to build her knowledge and experience.
Cerys has a particular interest in chronic pain and is keen to develop her understanding of conditions such as fibromyalgia. She enjoys exploring how physiotherapy can help people manage their symptoms, improve their day-to-day function and, most importantly, improve their quality of life. For Cerys, making sure patients feel listened to, understood and involved in their recovery is really important.
Cerys was drawn to GSP because of its friendly and supportive environment and has loved becoming part of such a welcoming team. We’re very pleased to have her on board!
Away from work, Cerys enjoys keeping active and you’ll often find her running or lifting weights in the gym. She has loved ballet from a young age and danced as a hobby for many years. She’s also a big fan of travelling and recently spent a month in Huế, Vietnam followed by a family holiday to Mexico!
At home, Cerys lives with her mum, dad, sister and their dog. And when it comes to guilty pleasures, Cerys has a definite sweet tooth – Haribo is top of the list. We’re not sure there’s a better reward after a busy day!
